Modest grey multistoried buildings in Novy Arbat are illuminated on the occasion of St. Valentine’s Day with scarlet-red hearts. On February 13th, 2014 in the eve of the holiday the skyscrapers business-centers became perhaps the most romantic buildings in the City.
Moscow Department of fuel and energy economy designed 20 types of highlights for different holydays. For instance for the Day of the Fatherland Defenders the skyscrapers will display St.George ribbons, eternal flame, salutes, planes, soldiers and flying flags. The highlighters will change each other every 5 minutes.
New highlighters already are installed on the facades of buildings located in the Garden Ring and Yakimaka Street. Also Moscow authorities are going to illuminate with architectural highlighting the buildings located in Leningradskoye, Yaroslavskoye , Kashirskoye shosse and Boulevard Ring.
