Moscow is in top-3 of the most expansive cities for expats

Moscow City has taken the second place of life expensiveness chart this year. Earlier Moscow took the 4th place during 3 years.

According to Mercer Human Resource Consulting Company the leader of the most expensive cities of the world is the capital of Angola Luanda. The third place took Tokyo, being traditionally a leader of numerous life cost charts. Top-10 as well includes N'Djamena (Chad), Singapore, Hong-Kong, Geneva, Zurich, Bern in Switzerland and Sidney.
 

The research analyzed 200 market baskets in 214 countries. New-York prices were considered to be the basic data in the research.

The main grounds for high life cost in the capital of Russia are the prices for rent in Moscow. For instance, approximate price for a 1-bedroom luxe apartment is 4.600 US dollars per month.
