Total area of parking under Pushkinskaya square depends on results of archeological excavations

According to Aleksandr Kuzmin, the chief architect of the capital, the total area of the underground parking under Puskinskaya square in Moscow is to be fixed after full-scale archeological excavations carrying out.

He communicates that the variants of building up will be worked out proceeding from the abovementioned archeological excavations. “It’s not clear presently if the artifacts and the basements of old buildings could keep safe under Pushkinskaya square”, - added A. Kuzmin. A.

Kuzmin also told that parking is to house 800 parking stalls, the number, probably will be corrected. Prefect of Moscow Central administrative district Aleksey Aleksandrov added that after constructing of the underground parking the architectural look of the square won’t be altered.
