The most eco-friendly skyscraper will be constructed in Chinese city Guangzhou

The headquarters of tobacco CNTC Corporation will be located in the 70-stored tower Pearl River Tower. Inhabitat communicates about the completion of skyscraper construction, adding that the tower will be the highest building in the world, constructed with application of energy saving technologies.

The skyscraper is to generate electric power independently by using of solar cell battery and built-in wind generators. Also the building will be equipped with the system of “intellectual” blinds. It’ll make for usage of daylight as long as possible, so there is less need in lamplight and AC system.

“Concept of energy independence of Pearl River Tower proves that a human being can live in harmony with environment or at least do no harm to nature” – claims architectures of the project from Skidmore, Owings &Merrill bureau.
