Demand for exclusive apartments in Moscow decreased by 40%

The volume of demand for high-budget rental apartments decreased by 40% comparing with the previous month rates, says the survey made by IntermarkSavills Company.

According to analysts’ estimates it is connected first of all with traditional seasonal slack. On the contrary the considerable rise of potential tenants was registered in April, 2010.

“At the same time the number of requests and deals for the last month exceeds the corresponding rates of May, 2009 (approximately by 3%)” – says the review. Experts also claim that the average budget of the deals during last May increased by 6% and made up 6,8 thousand dollars monthly, proceeding the rise started in April, 2010.
